About Stumble

Right place. Right time. Right lamp.

Stumble started with a simple idea: someone's clutter is someone else's treasure. Berlin already has this incredible Verschenken culture — a lamp on the curb, a box of books by the door, a plant that just needs a new window to sit in. The stuff is out there. Finding it was the hard part.

So I made that part easy.

How it works

No accounts to fill out, no prices, no haggling. Someone posts something they're giving away, it drops a pin on the map, and it's yours if you get there first. That's it. First come, first stumbled.

Why I'm building this

I live here. I've dragged home a dresser I didn't need and left out a lamp I didn't want — and both felt oddly wonderful. There's something genuinely good about giving a thing a second life instead of a trip to the curb, and about trusting a stranger enough to just... leave something out for them.
